An environmental group released a report that predicts drivers will save an aggregate of $69 billion a year in fuel costs by 2030 because of new gas-mileage standards in cars.
The Natural Resources Defense Council’s report called “Relieving Pain at the Pump” says Americans facing higher gasoline prices are already availing themselves of more fuel-efficient vehicles available as higher miles-per-gallon standards have begun to kick in.
