Honda in North America to ship out more cars than it imports

W‚Äâithin two years, Honda will export more vehicles from North America than it imports, the company said yesterday.

The automaker can do this because of plant expansions, including more than $500 million spent in Ohio. Plants in Indiana, Alabama and Mexico also have undergone expansion…

Honda has about 13,500 employees in Ohio, a number that will increase by several hundred as a result of the changes.
