Ford joins Daimler, Nissan to develop fuel cell vehicles

Three automakers have banded together in an attempt to get fuel cell vehicles on the road faster.

Ford, Nissan and Daimler said today they have signed a 3-way agreement for joint development of a common fuel system which they anticipate will enable them to put affordable, mass market fuel cell electric vehicles on the road as early as 2017.
