Ford Fusion gets class-leading 47 mpg rating for city/highway

The hybrid version of Ford Motor Co.’s all-new Fusion midsize sedan has received an Environmental Protection Agency certified 47 miles per gallon for both city and highway driving, the Dearborn automaker said Tuesday, giving the vehicle the highest fuel-efficiency of any hybrid in its class.
