Colorado, Oklahoma reps in town to discuss compressed natural gas vehicles

Representatives from Colorado and Oklahoma will meet with U.S. auto manufacturers in Detroit on Monday to pitch a multi-state compressed natural gas vehicle initiative.

Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin, Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, Oklahoma Secretary of Energy Michael Ming and Oklahoma Secretary of Commerce Dave Lopez will be in the Motor City in the latest effort to push for CNG vehicles, which could provide consumers with a more environmentally friendly fuel source at about half the cost.
