New York —Automakers are embracing hybrids as they face increasingly tough fuel-efficiency standards around the world.
At the New York InternationalAutoShow, Toyota Motor Corp. announced it will build a Highlander SUV hybrid, while Nissan Motor Co. said it will build its first-ever Pathfinder hybrid and Infiniti Q50 hybrid.
