  Detroit Electric returns to build electric sports cars, create 180 jobs

Detroit Electric, formerly an electric vehicle maker in the early 1900s, plans to bring 180 jobs to Metro Detroit by the end of the year and will produce a pure electric sports car beginning in August, the company said Tuesday.
