Backing for New Fuel-Efficiency Rules

Consumers support higher fuel economy standards, even if they will cause car prices to increase,a new reportfrom the Consumer Federation of America says.

The federal government is moving this summer to complete regulations that would set a standard of almost 55 miles per gallon as a national fleet average by 2025.
